When you're messaging someone if you don't have their chat box open it glows when they type in it. but in chat groups it doesn't has riot considered making it glow like how friends do? i hope i explained this well

It does make a noise if you want to turn on sound effects. I imagine Riot felt that something so actively disruptive shouldn't have an effect you can't turn off.
