I want to have a discussion with riot about the camera angle, and put forth my ideas, and actually get a responce stateing they will talk about it and exsplain why they feel the idea is good or bad and actually have a discussion. Anyone at Riot willing to take this up? I'll happily do a Private convo if needed just to keep the trash talkers out of it.

Hello and thank you for everyone reading this, preferrably the whole thing because a TL:DR means you dont belong in this conversation.

To begin, The obvious difficulty for locked camera players is the blue camera angle advantage. When they are playing on purple team. Now a lot of people are feel very strong about this one way or the other, I however would like to hear Riots responce not as No we wont do that, but as why you wont, the best way to help us help you is to allow us to understand why something is how it is, and how the changes we are proposing would threaten that for everone and not make the field more fair.

Example one: (I will state right now myself i completely disagree with this suggestion but i am posting it as an example. I will post my suggestion later.

Relocking your camera position, This seems to be the goldmine in players heads as for a fix to the locked camera issue.

What is it: To relock your camera to any desired location relative to your champion. If you are playing purple adc/support as locked camera you have less view below you than above you, of which should be about 10% of the action, being ganks and such.

How does this help: It will allow players to choose where their camera is locked in relation to their champion and will give purple team players a greater view of the field below them.

Why I do not think this is viable as a fix: If you allow purple team to relock there camera, you have also made it do blue team co do the exact same thing, with that said a blue team player would only need to shift the camera more hevily into there favor to remove the entier purpose of this suggestion. If you make a change for one team that in itself is unbalanced. Any change should affect everyone equaly.

My suggestion:

What is it: Rotate the camera, not a 180* flip because then yes players will confuse top and bot very frequently when on purple team and cause greater confusion and frustration which would be a horrible thing to do. I suggest a 90* rotation that is purely optional. This 90* rotation would have purplr team start in the lower right corner and work there way up and left, while on blue team they normally work up and right.

How does this help: ONE . Top lane is still top lane, bottom lane is still bottom lane, nothing changes there.

TWO . Both teams have equal vision from the correct angles. I say this by representing mid lane for my description.

a. On blue team due to camera angle your view is slightly less from the Bot lane side river area. With my proposal purple lane would have the exact same vision restriction. Bot lande side of the river area. Both sides view would be less from there closest point.

b. When blue team is running back to base from top lane they can not see very well due to the camera angle, this would also be equalized to purple team if this is implimented as a fix. Mind you i am going for 100% equal teams as all times (Now ofcourse players can change that but the overall opportunity should remain equal.

THREE . This is an issue with Jungle creep location in general as an overall meta creation. Is this part of the camera angle, well not entierly but if im going to make a suggestion on equalizing the battle field im going to make a full suggestion not a half-hearted one.

a. Blue buff for Blue is top side, Red buff is Bot for blue side, and vice versa for purple. What i am suggestiong as a second part of the equalization is to have baron removed at the begining and place in a second dragon.

While I think more camera/UI options would be a good thing in general (I'd like to be able to relocate portions of the UI), I personally have absolutely zero problems with the setup the way it is regardless of what side/lane I'm playing in.

I would like to point out that most of the 'problems' you pointed out only apply to using locked screen; the simplest solution is to unlock your screen. I've, quite literally, NEVER played with a locked screen; although using spacebar to switch back to your camp is really useful. Also, I know people who play with locked screen and never complain about it; and, while this isn't a rule, just something I've noticed: people who play with locked screen generally have terrible map awareness. Learning to use un-locked screen could possibly make you a better team player in that regard (not criticizing you in particular, just pointing out a trend I've noticed).
So, no, I can't sympathize with your problem, but I do see issues with the current camera setup (minor ones, admittedly, that, imo, you're over-reacting to).

As for your ideas about dragon/baron and making top/bot 'equal', well, they'd absolutely wreck the current balance the game has. Adding a second dragon would all but make fighting over dragon absolutely irrelevant (one team takes each), OR, it'd have the effect of whichever team takes double dragons snowballs and wins due to global gold advantage. However, I DO think baron could use an update (compare him to Vilemaw and he just looks silly). Also, with regard to the whole bot/top being 'equal' idea: the reason top is generally considered 'unimportant' is that it becomes more relevant late game (baron), and teams really only need to send one champ top to farm (maybe get some kills) and protect blue/red buff. If you were to switch baron/dragon then the lanes would also switch (more champs to protect/contest the early game objective of dragon). Adding as second dragon wouldn't 'fix' (or, more accurately 'change' this) except to maybe make jugglers irrelevant and simply have a duo lane top where someone occasionally takes blue or roams (ironically, this is what Riot made happen with the Targon's Embrace item and subsequently hot-fixed it within 3ish days, so I'm pretty sure they're absolutely opposed to that change).
Basically, changing Drag/Baron on the map isn't going to happen; but, an update to either/both of them would be welcome (new model/attacks/effects/etc).

As for buff location I think the Wight camp addition has largely fixed most of the problems I had with the jungle (in addition to changes to golems to keep blue from always winning bot lane early).

While I mostly disagree with you I hope you found my input beneficial.
