quick question does that mean i get two free wins since this is my second time being told that i get a free win? or just 1 total? because with that logic i should just get promoted for free this time. unless it's only 1 free win in all.

either way it's time to "climb the mountain"

One total, even if you go through multiple times. You also stop getting free wins from your Gold 1 -> Plat 5 series onwards.
