How can i take it out of context when all i did was copy and paste his "revelation" so to speak as to what our prognosis was. In the article the OP directed us to, it gave two possible options...youre bad and are unable to accurately assess the skill of those around you or you are highly skilled and assume the task is easy for everyone.

This is a game entirely predicated on you being able to carry your team in order to advance ranks. If he is legitimately carrying his team, and not advancing, it's just another example of a flawed system.

I don't think the problem is people coaching, or even playing with a high-ranked player to boost their own rank. I might not like high/low duos due to the matchmaking issues (and they've mitigated that by restricting the spread on ranked duos), but the low level player still has to play through the game and maybe will learn something. The problem is when you pay someone else to play on your account. That's where you run into things like ToS violations and permabans.

I see your point, and it is a good one. But it isnt entirely accurate. While elo boosters exist, and the fact that they work does prove, but only to a point, that the system "works" as in if you are good enough you can carry yourself out, it doesnt entirely negate the idea the system is flawed.

From what i understand the elo boosters are all diamond or high platinum and above. I dont know of any gold elo boosters, or at least havent heard of any. So one still has to beg the question, do you have to be platinum level to grind your way out of bronze/silver? That is really all the elo boosters existence have proven, you have to be 2-3 full tiers higher in skill to carry your way to gold or higher. Whether this is true or not remains to be proven, but elo boosters far from prove the system is not flawed.

This is how tank/support mains feel playing with carries learning the game in ranked.

It's like watching one of those slasher horror movies from the 80s. Your adc walks off to farm that minion wave alone. You see the Katarina Rengar Zed Shaco immediately make a beeline for their position on the mini map.

"LOOK OUT! THEY'RE RIGHT BEHIND YOU!" You scream into your monitor as you frantically spam 239810749872398409821 danger pings. But they're oblivious. In their own little world farming away as slowly as possible. To "Freeze" the lane like they saw in LCS! They almost get that last creep when the entire enemy team collapses on them.

"CALL MIA N00BS!" They cry during their 60s death timer as the enemy team picks up the freshly spawned dragon/baron/inhibitor/nexus.

ELO hell is playing with teammates that aren't as skilled as everyone else in the game.

I think it's that some people assume a high KDA should automatically translate into carry-to-win. They are most likely the ones who don't ward (gotta finish that build as fast as possible, don't you know), don't stick around for teamfights to preserve their KD ratios, who get mad about KS because they forget to include Assists in their performance, etc. They are players that forget it's not a single-player game. "Carrying" just means they are in a position to make it easier to help the rest of the team keep pace and steamroll over their opponents.
