Yeah and oj didnt murder those people because if he did he would be in prison because the justice system (Much like riot's) is flawless and has never gone wrong! On the real my friend who hardly plays and doesnt rage got a week ban, I think he legit got banned for being bad LOL

If you genuinely feel that you(or your friend) didn't, then send a ticket and request a review. They'll remove it if they're wrong.

Jubbinaut1 votesCheating tends to earn either an Escalated Ban (so two weeks) or a perma-ban.
The only thing that I know of that still issues 1-week bans is Leaverbuster - and it still takes rather a lot of leaves to trigger a ban, there. I also find it hard to believe that your friend could reach the 1-week ban stage of LB and not know what it relates to (the number of LPQs he would've had alone make that unlikely, not to mention the lower ban tiers).
Which makes this a particularly confusing situation that definitely deserves a Support ticket.

Jubbinaut2 votesIt takes rather a lot. The punishment escalation for the old Leaverbuster was 1-day ban, 3-day ban, 7-day ban, 14-day ban. The new Leaverbuster is still supposed to be able to issue bans, but prefers LPQs.
I didn't really think it was an LB ban. Like I said, it seems unlikely. But I don't know of anything else that issues only a 7-day ban at the moment. Which is why I suggested submitting a Support ticket to ask about the reason behind the ban.

Are you sure it's a 1-week ban? Did it show that in the client, or was it from an email?
If it was from an email, can you verify the full date the ban is supposed to last until?

If you are even just half a saint, you should be able to forward a ticket to Riot and get it removed.
I say should, because just like their banning system, it isn't perfect.

I personally think only people who ruin games should be banned because its easier to get done, I can mute little timmy if his spam of you suck gets annoying, but i cant stop little timmy when he goes 0-17 running down mid all game and is not even playing

If your friend is indeed innocent, I'm sorry, but 90% of the people who come to the forums and complain that they have been wrongly banned can be see from thread creation or one or two replies that they most likely were banned for a reason. You see it all the time, "I'm wrongly banned, the fuck Rito get off your lazy asses and fix this shit" and I just roll my eyes, or if someone questions them they respond with "No, you idiot, I didn't do X or Y, I'm a perfect person."
Like, it's hard to sympathize with anyone who comes here complaining about a ban when you see this in at least half the threads.
