My Road to Bronze
I created this 2nd account, many many months ago with the idea that I'd be one of the extremely many that would intentionally put myself in to bronze and climb out and up to where ever. It took forever to get the account to 30, but now that it's finally there I decided to go straight into ranked.
Idea was simple, so i made a few rules
- attempt to cs, just fail at it horribly
- always harass lane opponent over csing
- blow as much skills as i can to prevent from having mana to use them wisely
- no warding unless support
- only back when you absolutely have to, 40% health, no vision on any one and 10% mana? thats ok, keep missing cs
I thought the rules was simple, but alas...solo q always comes out on top
Game 1. Last pick, as a typical bronzie i say nothing at champ select, i figured this is how its done and no one seemed to notice. I get stuck as adc and lock in ashe, i hadn't used ashe in months, especially not since rework, seemed like the perfect idea. Game goes great, i'm spamming volley every time it's up, chasing around graves after i volley and somehow manage to miss him, attempting to lose trades. It seems graves and this morg support are doing the same thing...I swear this morg is reading my mind...cause every snare seems to go the opposite direction i'm walking and never seems to land on me. Graves runs when i try to trade and smokescreens my support instead of me...damn i should have picked graves. End Result 7-1-5, Game won...I'm already starting this off all wrong
Game 2. Last pick again. i get stuck as support. So like a boss i lock in Xin with smite, cause you know dem support xins and challenging smite, great idea! Yi jungle is not happy i have smite, he starts flaming and changes to flash/exhaust, i try to explain i'm support but to no avail...we now got a jungle xin and support Yi, things are looking good. Best idea is to stay in jungle and just farm, team deff doesn't want ganks. Vi and this bot lane seem to get lost alot...they keep ending up in my jungle giving me kills and assists...dammit this is all going wrong, will have to come down to team fights. First big team fight breaks out, i flash in and ult garen right on top of my graves, mission successful! ...............Garen just q'd away from graves back to me...he wont stop spinning on my face.... End Result 6-4-19, why did they feed the support Yi
Game 3, First pick. Locks in Vel'koz mid, time to man mode the q's and miss them all in a spectacular fashion. Don't worry guys....I got dis. Enemy team has Sona and Lulu, that means level 1 solo invade for the tentacle monster. Lulu found in river brush, she misses her Q as i use stealth pattern of straight line to dodge, i proceed to auto, she runs, i auto again, she runs some more, i fire my first q ready for the glorious oh crap i activated too early and missed moment.....she flashes, she doesn't just flash, she flashes over the wall DIRECTLY ON TOP OF MY Q. I run away in fear, enemy too stronk for any further engage. Game goes horribly, shaco is ganking every 30 seconds and i can only pretend i didn't see him for so many times. It's ok, i feel it, that moment of twisting and changing luck is about to happen. Team fight breaks out i just sooooo happen to be caught out, tentacle monster aint skurred...most their team are females, females hate tentacle monster, easy target easy loss, i got dis. Leading the charge down mid is me, rest of team is behind me like i'm the tank, and I hear it...Sion ult, purple side, inner turret, hes coming from blue...i've got literally no where to hide this is that game changing sion ult getting ready to smash tentacle monster. Eyes wide, pure glee as i see the raging thing come running, and he starts to curve, but what is he doing. thats the wrong way! He curves away from me, goes behind and rams straight into Irelia, followed by rek'sai flash/knockup also on Irelia, their entire team ignores me. Game ends, End Result 12-3-4
