Do towers still respawn if you hold out for more then an certain amount of time in Summoners rift?

I remember this actually happening when I found out about it, me and a friend would play customs/normal hold out until certain amount of time if we were loosing and if we did our towers would respawn, same for the enemy if they did to and I was wondering if this still happens. It may not I don't know but I thought it was cool when we held out in Summoner's rift and be rewarded with towers showing back up out of no where. Many may not remember this being a thing but it did happen and don't you go telling me it never did because I certainly have seen it.believe you had to last more then an hour but don't remember also it was only inner towers respawning not any other towers just the ones at base.
