league players get butthurt so easy they try to report after everything. Ive played fps games halo cod cs go ive played dota ive played alot of competitve games and this is the only community that gets extremely butthurt over everrrrything and riots a part to blame as well as the players. Riot shouldnt have a "verbal abuse" button if you want reports it should be like other games where you report for cheating griefing or spamming. every game has a mute button but this is the only game where people dont use it and just cry report every 30 seconds. for example in a game i played i said why are you guys chasing the support? and our jungler says in all chat report xerath hes toxic. I dont even think you guys understand what toxic means because theres a big difference between ruining a game and dragging the team down and making you think about the game so i stop dying because im using teamwork

I believe it's because kids are too pampered. Back in the Halo 2 days, it was terrible. COD 4 days was also really bad. IMO nothing compared to the LoL community. I think the report button is abused by kids because you type things they don't want to read.

Played Counter Strike competitively for years. Hearing "OMFG HE'S HACKING" in every other game for years.
Started playing StarCraft competitively in duo queue blinds - OMFG my team mate so newb, just kill yourself when resources and building scores were higher. Playing Halo competitively - "Holy shit scrub, you can't even lock in wth rocket launcher" when going positive in a map where that person was negative KDA.

I've never played an Online competitive game that didn't have whiner babies and toxic kids. Welcome to online gaming.

Should really limit the number of reports you get per week. If a person you reported is punished, then you gain some "points" and are gifted another report. As you "lvl up" based on accurate reports you gain more reports per week being a good example of the LoL community.

This would get the LoL community thicker skin and would also allow Riot to key in on less baseless reports. If a person is reported repeatedly in differnt games by differnt ppl, more than likely he's a terrible summoner since reports dont' just grow on trees. Some one called you a b!tch for a b!tchass play, you know you just made a bad play you suck it up and move on instead of mashing the report button. Someone goes on some racial/bigoted rant, report, he'll prolly do it again a few times and will eat a ban.

People worry that they'd have to save their reports for anything truly terrible. 'Oh, this guy was very toxic in my game.. but I only have one report left. What of the guy after this game is even worse? Do I save my last report just in case?'

Which is a good thing to consider if you're going to limit reports.

That said, I agree, people seriously need a thicker skin. There was a Zed mid in a recent game of mine. His Akali mid roamed down to bot lane and my support and I died to her (it was warded but we towerdove two kills so we were super pushed). All I did, word for word, was tell him to either follow her when she roamed or push mid, instead of just standing in the middle of the minions like he was doing. He and his duo reported me, responding ingame 'you're bossy and toxic'.

I mean I understand where you're coming from. I even get the toxic idiots saying to report me in all chat, and i can't say anything because I'm chat restricted (mostly because people fall for that garbage). It's not that they're butthurt they're just down right retarded. People do the dumbest things or are just plain sadistic purposely trying to piss people off so they can have "fun". Theres already a few in the comments of this tread so far from the looks of it. QQ
