Baron/Dragon and Bronze

I just had a teammate call me a bronze noob for not wanting to do baron when the entire enemy team was alive, we had no vision of them, and we had no vision of the baron area. We did attempt baron later, but he was playing a tank with no tanky items, and we had to call it off because the rest of our team was too squishy. In the same game, playing top side, my team would start dragon without vision and without pulling it out of its cave first, despite my pleading with them. We only managed two dragons that game. And again, I got called a bronze noob for not getting more dragons. Now, I jungle primarily, and I'm at a point in my games where I am strongly considering putting off dragon in order to be able to solo it so I don't have to deal with these people. BTW, I'm not a bronze noob. I'm only level 18. Is there any way to teach these people?
