Why is LP loss suddenly so more unforgiving? I went from 30 LP S1, loss 3 games between afk, trolls, and lag and somehow my third game at zero LP I get demoted when i've seen a 2-3 game flex before. Why is it so unforgiving now? Is this normal at end of season or something. I mean getting matched up against Gold 3s in S1 isn't fair enough but this is just too much.
I'm not sure on the loss of LP, but if you're getting matched against players in the tier above you, that's a normal thing. It just means that either they're too low in MMR for their tier or you're too high for yours-- which, since you were silver 1, is quite likely. Would it make sense for you to be matched against G3 if you were in G5? The game is trying to test whether you're ready to move on.
Hah, i know the feel, i've been struggling to get past S1 for months, got demoted twice, climbed back to S1 surprisingly fast, and won my gold promos after having lost the first 2 matches, played Morg, Ahri then Jinx, first and last i barely play, too bad i won't be getting much out of this, horrible pick for the Victorious skin, after having heard it was Morg, i was hoping the Championship skin would go to something good, but nope, Championship Shyvana, aka, a darker Ice drake Shyvana (Which is a better skin imo).
