Future Ekko noob trap builds
Nashor's tooth: "But muh passive!" Ok, you get the 3 hit proc but then what? After you apply the passive, you can't reapply it right after. "Z-Drive Resonance cannot affect the same target more than once every few seconds."
That combined with its 70% AP scaling, you would benefit more from flat AP at that point, (Anything with a scaling of .7 or above, you benefit more from flat AP than magic penetration unless the base damage is past a certain damage.)
Tanky/Bruiser items: You have 80% AP scaling shield and an ult that heals based on your AP+damage taken. You are incredibly safe, the only thing that should be able to kill you is DotA level of chain CC.
Heal: 100 / 150 / 200 (+ 20 / 25 / 30%「 (+ 3.33% per 100 AP) 」「 (+ 1% per 30 AP) 」of damage taken).
His shield is similar to the sense of Riven, the more offense you have, the better your defense.
His ult is the sense as Zilean. Do you build Randuin's, Frozen heart on him? Situationally it may be needed but building pure AP will help your ult heal you much more and make the rest of his kit more useful.
What you SHOULD build on him:
Lich Bane: He abuses it as much as Twisted Fate W/Old AP Fizz Q. Like them, the modified attack will deal their base AD, plus base damage and AP scaling. Ekko's E base damage is much larger than Old Fizz Q and Twisted Fate's W but has a lower scaling of 20% AP (30% for Fizz and 50% for TF). However, if we combine it with Lich Bane, E+Lich ban proc is now 175% AD+70% AP. At max rank, Ekko's E is 7 seconds, similar to Max Fizz's Q/TF W 6 second CD, making it easy to abuse Lich Bane procing with constant Es.
CDR: Unlike Fizz/Twisted Fate, you can squeeze in CDR more easily in your build. With Max CDR, your Q and E reach a CD of 4.2 seconds, your W is 5.6 CD and your ult is 42 second CD. Constantly slowing and chasing people with Lich Bane proc every 4.2 seconds, getting over 1K health shield every 5.6 seconds while stunning people in the area and basically reviving every 42 seconds.
Luden's Echo: You are moving a lot while constantly casting. You benefit everything from it.
