No Ranked Season Rewards for People With 20 min Leaver Buster This Season

so from what i heard if u get a any kind of ban in any part of season u will not get Season 5 Ranked Rewards is that correct sir ? thanks in advance.

I want to start off by saying that yes, I have had a few Leaver Busters this season (who hasn't) and it just crushes me to know that I'm not getting any rewards for something I can't control. I don't leave games intentionally or AFK because I didn't get my role, connection issues are a thing and this client isn't perfect. If the client freezes up at the loading screen and the game starts before I can connect I have to wait an additional 4-6 minutes just reconnect and if any of you didn't know, the LB message procs at around 5 mins telling you that you're AFK. I find it absurd that people with Leaver Buster are getting punished along with the actual toxic fuck wads we have to put up with everyday. I mean LB is probably the least harsh punishment you can receive and is a pretty decent punishment in itself in deterring noobies and top players alike from leaving if they want to keep playing. What makes me even angrier though is that this new "policy" or whatever you want to call it was announced 3 fucking months before the season will end. Like what?

I've been playing this game since January 1st of this year and it's been a long hard journey from shitty Bronze 3 to REALLY shitty Silver 5 and I'm just....broken. I've managed to avoid every punishment besides this one and I don't find it fair that I'm getting lumped in with the baddies.

Tl;dr - get punishment, get punished for the punishment Tl;dr 2 - ranked fucked me in the ass all season but Riot Lyte fucked me harder in a day gg

Lol, "if you got chat restricted 1 time during the season you won't get end of season rewards". I think that's a little too far lol. Especially considering rito is the one that created this environment.

I got 20 minute leaver but those weren't my fault, it was my pvp net, because the wi-fi in my house was working perfectly elsewhere. That sucks that I won't get my reward because of it :/

Yep this decision is just rediculous and absolutely unfair, I hope they will change it, because otherwise there is no point to play this game anymore in this year.

i got put in a 20 min low priority queue because for some reason for like a whole week my computer went to absolute trash. i couldn't connect to like half of the games and i kept trying to fix it but eventually ended up with a 20 min low priority queue and now i can't get rewards when i get to gold. i and promise you, i will get to gold.

They really shouldn't go through with this. A friend of mine JUST started playing League of Legends at the start of the season; and they had a somewhat unstable connection at the start. They ended up getting a few leaverbusters at first. Note, these were all gained from BOT GAMES. It was during their first couple months playing, and they knew better than to get in a normal with an unstable connection. However, they eventually got a better connection and started playing normals after hitting level 20-25, and by level 30 played exclusively normals. Then, out of my entire group of friends who started playing league at the start of the season, they were the first to get into ranked. They instantly got placed into silver, and are slowly climbing their way towards gold. There's a REALLY good chance that they are going to end up getting gold by the end of the season, and it'd devastate them if after all that work, they get told at the end of the season that they don't get their rewards, ALL because they got a few leaver busters during their first few months playing league, when they didn't have a good connection; when, since then, they went to the trouble of getting a BETTER connection JUST for this game, and have played hardcore within' their first year of league just so that they could hopefully get gold. They've never been toxic. They've never been chat banned, or restricted from any game mode in any way. It's be completely stupid to strip them of their potential rewards due to a connection issue they had MONTHS ago, when they went to the trouble of fixing that just so that they could play this game.

i dont think people who are chat restricted should be restricted on end of season rewards.. if their offenses are that bad.. then riot should just drop them out of the rank itself.. but just because someone hurts someones feelings isnt really a reason to remove what is earned at this point.

i think AFKers and que dodgers should be punished because their actions actually ruin the game.

chat restriction .. you can get someone chat restricted by quing with a group of 4 and all reporting the solo guy and its an instant chat ban. (or atleast it use to be)

i understand somethings do cross the line .. like way past the line.. but why not just perma ban their chat. Some of these people say absolutely nothing good.. and should not have the powers to talk.. but they are team players and they actually want to win.

Do we remember the /all chat episode with "professor Milk" who explains how he just gives bad advice to people. seriously troll conversations but as a community we find it 'funny'?

should he be chat banned because he openly admits he is trolling people verbally.

chat ban is in my opinion more helpful to some then a punishment.

Last year only the most toxic people didn't get ranked rewards. Most people who were improving but still had ongoing restriction still got rewards.

To put it into a perspective, let's say you are banned for 50 games. Even if you were positive the game will still issue a lower chat restriction, for example 20 games.

It never just *BOOM* and goes away. Your behaviour can be completely fine, but depending on your previous restriction you can get another or two for a good measure.

For me, that will mean I will either power through the game playing like 10 games a day until the end of the season while behaving like a saint or wait with my last game until the day season ends and hopefully the system won't issue me another restriction before rewards will be given.

That isn't a good system. It's enough that I can't communicate with my team for saying "fuck" a month ago to myself after making a mistake that costed me a death, but not getting ranked rewards after a year of flaying my skin off playing with godawful people to get gold?

That is, my good sir, an outrage.

I find this to be the most bs thing ever I have played since season 3 and have only left game due to internet problems and the fact that your taking this away from people with 20 mins queues is fucking stupid,as soon as my friend told me about this I uninstalled as many others will hearing this unless you change these fucking rules any of us will not be coming back and for you to tell us this so soon to the end is the worst part.tldr:riot fuck you for having a shitty team behind such a great concept

HONESTLY if they do this, I will for sure be done with this game, and I'M 100% that many others will be the same the time spent to get gold,plat,dia,master,chall just to get it took away is ridiculous slap in the face to those players.

tbh i really hate leaver buster. Riot has to be a little more forgiving with people leaving games because you never know when something is gonna pop out. Some people have cleared their schedule and yet someone calls them for an emergency. I just think that the whole leaver buster thing is a mistake and that people who leave should get punished in a different way. They shouldn't have to wait 20 min to join a game for 5 games. Thats absurd

Man I am an Eune silver player that is able to climb elo,but I always have internet probllems following to leaverbusted.I docn't car eabout deafeat as much as that leaverbuster beacause I enjoy league and I can't play it...[zombie-brand-facepalm]

Hey i had one chat restriction from swearing at myselfs when i played bad vs gold or solvers who are 1200 elo below me... i never flamed anyone but myself but after chat restriction i evem stopped that. Now i don't get Diamond rewards just like real toxic people and afk wads like you? And they tell me that NOW at the end of the season? This ain't justice just a cruel empire abusing its power lulz
