Team builder fail?

How does team builder actually build it's teams? I am a lvl 23 and the only high lvl person on my team was a lvl 30 (unranked 300 wins). The others were a mix of lvl 26, 27, 25. We just got put up against a team that had 4/5 ranked in silver 2,3,5 and the person who wasnted ranked was a lvl 29? The silver 5 had more wins than all of us combined ( verified by lolnexus)

Is there anyway to avoid this in the future or is this just how team builder will be?

Needless to say we got wrecked within 20 minutes. :c

I have been experiencing issues too. I suspect the problem is that these folks play mostly ranked and their normals MMR is not really reflective of their ranked MMR. So, in terms of matchmaking, the system is matching "equal" players, but that's due to the #'s.

Just keep in mind these folks will play their 25 games and then go back to ranked and leave you the heck alone :)
