Discrepancy between splash arts and skins

When you look at Bewitching Morgana's splash art you get the idea of a dark witch, but when you go in game you see a colorful witch...basically, its the same classic Morgana, but with bats xD I wish Riot could make her darker...or at least add some green color instead of her classic purple :(
