The Dopamine Fueled Joy that is the Feeling of Getting Better

Okay here's a story about how much I love this game.

In the past month or so I've been grinding ranked up the ladder. I started Bronze 2 and now I'm Silver 3 which isn't much, but to me that's really exciting. Makes me want to keep climbing and I'm gonna try for gold before the end of the season. Then yesterday I played some normals on an old favorite of mine, Kog'maw and I realized that after playing ranked, the win or loss doesn't really matter as much in normals. So I decided to try something out I had thought of for a long time but hadn't ever tried to do before out of the fear of falling behind: I tried maxing E first in lane. E max felt incredible, at level 6 I had burst comparable to Corki. The downside is that it starts to cost a ton of mana, so I would only really recomend it when you're paired with a kill support like Annie, Leo, Blitz, etc. to synergize with their burst potential. I went 16/1 that game by positioning really well in teamfights and focusing the right targets. Since that game I've felt really strong and way more strategic in teamfights. I've carried a lot of games that looked lost and it feels good.

TL;DR Getting better feels good, learning feels good, this is the best game I've ever played.
