Promos Rant

I normally defend a lot of things about promos. Not saying they are perfect or even good, but they are at least something since I don't believe that in the current system people should be able to free flow through all 5 tiers as easily as they could if it was purely MMR based. That being said if I am Silver 2 in my promos to Silver 1 how does it make sense that on the other team is a Silver 1 in promos to Gold? Yada yada yada yah its MMR based not ranking or LP based. I get that. But why would beating someone technically lower tiered than you prove you are good enough to get promoted to a higher ranking? Not a huge deal just a bit salty from a game that snowballed on the opposite side of the map than me. and not saying that I shouldn't play Silver 1 or Gold 5 or even higher in my promos if my MMR is high enough, but you should not be playing people a tier worse than you to get promoted that just makes no sense in any realm.
