She's nvr been reworked, but her damage has been nerfed, q used to do over 3 times what it does now and bounced more, e gave more dmg reduction than now, w had a better ms buff, and r just did shittons of samage on top of the shit tons it does now. not much else to say. Sorry but do you even check before posting? Kat was released in 2009, the spotlight you linked and which I already saw BTW is from 2012. Original? Obviously not.

Dude, you clearly didn't research properly, Katarina came out in 2009 yes, Champiuon spotlight didn't become a thing until 2010, he then worked his way through all champions, putting emphasis on newer released champs, but also working his way through existing champions, kat's video was just released that late because spotlight wasn't a thing yet when sh was released, here's a link with ALL champion spotlights listed: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Champion_Spotlight

This is what I know about her old kit:

Passive: same Q: had Grevious Wounds, bounced certain number of times based on level (2/3/4/5/6 I think) W: enhanced next Q or E E: same R: longer channel time (I think), no Grevious Wounds

Please correct me if I'm wrong! Thanks!

And FYI, I've never found any mention of her old kit on the wiki.

On most of champions wikis, there's a "change log", "updates history", and if you scroll down at the very bottom, you get the primary skills.

Did the W just amplify the damages, or did it add additional effects?

And if I'm right, grevious wounds on Q was removed "recently".

Sounds like it was a bit easier to balance, since now her Q empowers her next W, which leads to a lot more burst. And I like it bouncing more per level, helps prevent early-game poke-out.

I managed to find this. Gives a pretty good description of Katarina's old abilities before the posted champion spotlight. Pretty much the only big change to her kit was her W.
