And before anyone points out that I have the icon, it's because I'm actually a support main =P
I can stand support if i'm playing leona, or if I am supporting a friend, instead of some random person. Mainly, its because there is little/no fun in trying to carry a bad adc who I will never see again. With the exception of those above circumstances, I find support droll, boring, unexciting, low impact, and the list goes on and on.

Yea I've seen it a bit too. And I also main support. Though, crazy thing, I had three people wanting support in a ranked the other day. Has that ever even HAPPENED before?! I mean, really. Damn. I've not been running the icon because at least a dozen people on my friends list had it too. So I feel your pain. Meh. To me it doesn't matter. Those who know me, know what I main. ::shrug:: and when I go into a ranked I let people know what I main and what I suck at. (adc... it makes me want to die.)
but it only takes 5 games to get the icon, I have the assassin icon, and I'm probably the worst assassin you;ve ever seen
I am a good support, I am actually fairly good at many roles... especially support.. but I cant have just anyone as adc... you have to carry in solo queue.
I have 5.0+KDA 80% win rate on Nami but its low elo so kids are pretty bad and I lost it.
Look at that Nami tho...
I got all of the icons because I'm sort of a completionist... But I generally try to only use the icon of the role I'm actually playing (which is, admittedly, usually support).
Supports have the shortest queue times in tb. Maybe thats why
