I really like the idea of the "gentle knight" type of character, and so far he's the only champion that really captures that. Is being a healer still going to be a core part of his identity? Taric was actually the champion that I got excited about enough to download League, so I have some emotional attachment to him.
Also, I want to ship him with

Probably, most of the feed back has been demanding he be a supermanesque boy scout, who just happens to really appreciate beauty, the only more common request than he be super nice is that he be openly gay, And that one seems to have actually been given at least some consideration so i doubt riot would oppose him staying the kindhearted hero he is, probably gonna get a big change or replacement for his heal though, next to the point and click stun it's his most difficult to balance ability,
He is going to be the Paladin of the game so expect him to stay the incredible nice guy with awesomeness and faboulousness.

I think they will preserve his gentle image, but they will probably flesh him out a lot, too, because well... he basically doesn't have a personality as it is.
I am excited to hear about it, though. I wish they would finish Poppy so they could get to Taric!
