I really like the idea of the "gentle knight" type of character, and so far he's the only champion that really captures that. Is being a healer still going to be a core part of his identity? Taric was actually the champion that I got excited about enough to download League, so I have some emotional attachment to him.
Also, I want to ship him with

Drackolus1 votesThat was my initial thought, but I'm not sure is interested in conventional love. While is a celestial being, she seems to be less powerful and more "human," whereas Bard is just a celestial being with his own agenda. Really, we know absolutely nothing about his personality, other than we can assume he's a nice dude since he is trying to keep the fabric of the universe together. Not really shipable material.

Drackolus1 votesIt's true she was at one point more powerful, but even then she was bound to her grove - she had limits, rules she had to follow. And despite her centuries of life, she still had the nievete to trust him. And compassion is normal emotion, and her primary one. She acts like a very nice human. Bard doesn't even bother with/is incapable of communication. Also, balance isn't his goal.
When the unknowable structure of the universe is threatened, Bard steers all existence away from utter annihilation.
He at least is working towards preserving existence, and balance is probably the means to the end. Of course, we don't know if he's just doing it out of the kindness of his heart, if it's his duty, or if he even really thinks. He may well just be more like a part of a great machine, simply doing what he does, not putting any conscious though into anything. A body with no will.
I'd guess it's somewhere between those.

Drackolus1 votesIt may be that he doesn't care... or, because of his abnormal perception of time, he may have known that while the battle might have been bad, his intervention would have caused further suffering in the future. Or maybe he just feels that wars are petty struggles with no real consequence when the existence of the entire universe is at stake. We don't know, because he won't tell us.

Thanotos Omega1 votesProbably, most of the feed back has been demanding he be a supermanesque boy scout, who just happens to really appreciate beauty, the only more common request than he be super nice is that he be openly gay, And that one seems to have actually been given at least some consideration so i doubt riot would oppose him staying the kindhearted hero he is, probably gonna get a big change or replacement for his heal though, next to the point and click stun it's his most difficult to balance ability,

My guess is that they're going to make him a pretty straightforward 'paladin' kind of guy. With gems involved.

Solidair31 votesI think they will preserve his gentle image, but they will probably flesh him out a lot, too, because well... he basically doesn't have a personality as it is.
I am excited to hear about it, though. I wish they would finish Poppy so they could get to Taric!
