Some things I've Noticed in Bronze

So im in bronze 3 right now, im very much a noob, had the game a while but never really seriously played it but last season when i came out of placements i got put straight into silver and played in silver for a lil while but then these new placements stuck my peasant ass in bronze so thats fun. I still suck but Idk i guess i kinda know the difference between silver and bronze? idk this is me venting my frustrations. So for anyone looking to climb or who wants to laugh at a bronzie heres a few things i've noticed.

  1. Everyone in bronze thinks they are god tier mid. The same is kinda true in silver too but especially in bronze, 1st and 2nd pick rarely if ever pick anything else and i cant say i'm an exception because i've been playing mid since i started the game and so my first thoughts is play mid every game so I can carry myself out of this league. I think what people dont get is that alot of the current bronze elo is old silver players like me who think they can just switch to mid to try to carry themselves cause bronze noobs and end up getting stomped by the actual old silver mid mains. just a lil theory :D

  2. Like how i said most people want to play mid, its rare to see people who want to play support generally the pick order goes Mid->top->jung->adc->supp

  3. Will let 3 people die trying to contest an objective that they "have to try and contest" even though one or two people are dead or on the other side of the map. literally will dive into 5 people and let them get 3 free kills and then the objective too

  4. there are only two things people do in lane, steamroll their opponent, or get steamrolled and feed. No one seems to understand that coming out of lane with a lot less farm is a lot better than coming out of lane with 7 deaths. In another game I was playing as panth top against a tryndamere. immediatly i of course start stomping him cause its an easy matchup for me and i get ahead two kills, know what he did? sat under turret and farmed for all of laning phase, and it worked, my team started dropping like flies and even a few ults and roams werent helping that much because unlike tryndamere, my mid and bot lane were feeding more and more and i couldnt match them cause trynd wasnt straight feeding me. See the lesson boys? I'd say im gonna try this but who am i kidding i dont lose lane #swag

  5. Blame train: Oh you died solo in lane? the opponent must counter you and its the junglers fault for not helping. You were clearing a wave up top and your team starts a 4v5 without you? youre useless and never helping with fights.

  6. DEAR GOD EVERYONE HAS WRITTEN IT AND I WILL WRITE IT AGAIN. IT IS THE WHOLE TEAMS JOB TO WARD. DONT BLAME THE SUPPORT WHEN HE HAS 3 AND A PINK ON THE MAP AT ALL TIMES. UPGRADE YOUR DAMN TRINKET AND HELP OUT AHHHHHHHHH

  7. Oh you won lane? yeah overextend youll be fine! 7 deaths later "wow good throw guys atleast i won lane yall suck gg reported"

Im not perfect by any sense. In fact i suck, I like yasuo and zed because they are op and can carry my crappy skills. but stuff like this just kinda frustrates me. Bronze as a whole would benefit from people learning other lanes and what not instead of everyone trying to be the next Bjergson. alright i have math and college things to do that i will continue to put off by playing league I'm out.

funniest thing happened to me on sunday me and 2 other guys got in a fight over who should be the one who gets support and it wasn't who gets pinned with this horrible job it was a fight with us 3 yelling at each other saying, "I'm a good support with over X assists per match so i deserve the role" eventually my friend who was first pick said to let me support so we could have the communication advantage over the other team that was a good victory

everyone got along really well

As an actual mid main myself, I can attest that mid isn't the lane to carry yourself out of Bronze with.

Mid lane champions often have OP mid games, but fall off late. In the lower ELOs, games often drag on longer than they should because neither side is competent or co-ordinated enough to capitalize an advantage and end the game quickly.

I started doing Ranked matches during the pre-season and hovered around S1 and S2 with ~1 500 MMR. In Bronze, I often found myself winning the lane, but unable to carry my team even then. As the game progresses, everyone gets more gold. A mid champion such as Zed or Orianna will not win against a top lane champion such as Jax in 1 v 1 if they all have their core items.

In the situation where it is practically guaranteed that you get to buy your core items, top and ADC becomes much better options.

I don't understand why people think that mid and top are the best for carrying. I think it's actually the jungler and adc.

Because they actually focus getting objectives over kills. (well, there are exceptions)

Which actually win the game.

I sort of understand your rant. Don't worry i'm sure you will improve dude it may just take time. hell. if you main a different role and can carry in it, like my friend mains ADC, and you can almost guarantee you'll get adc since you say no one likes to adc so :] Just a thought. I myself am a mid main.
