I saw a lot of outcry over the new interface that Riot implemented, it seemed as though everyone hated it. But I'm here to say that I actually loved it. When I hopped on today, I noticed they'd taken it down. Why? Was there a problem with it, or did Riot just backdown from a good idea because people don't like new things? BRING THE NEW HUD BACK! I loved it. And I doubt I was the only one.
They haven't implemented it in Ranked yet, It's only in Normals and Customs.
I still hate it and wish I could choose to go with the old HUD.
Btw. Have you guys noticed that posts about the New HUD sucking started dying out... I wonder why, maybe because they played more than one game with it and actually started getting used to it and realizing it's superior in nearly every way to the old one?
They're tweaking the new one on the PBE, from what I saw on Surrenderat20. I like what they are doing with it.
There were nice things about it, but really bad weaknesses as well. It doesn't matter how nice a HUD looks if you can't read it or find the info you need. The adjustments they are making on the PBE will help it tons.

Oh hey, check that out. Looks like I didn't check my information properly. Thanks for correcting me guys, and for some love on the HUD. I played a ranked game this morning, first one in a long time, and I noticed it was gone. So naturally I thought that they had removed it, but they will be implementing it shortly. Exciting news indeed.
I think that League of Legends should give us the option of old HUD or the new HUD. That is my personal opinion. It's not that I don't like the new HUD but I am more used to the old HUD. So I am just pointing this out because I feel that I am not the only one who feels this way.

I still didn't play today. Maybe it has some bugs. The new HUD wasn't on rank too. It's probably still in BETA form. Just wait and be patient. ^^
I love the new HUD too. At first, I was always checking my items and stats on the lower left corner of the screen XD. But now, it's okay.

I'm sure people will get used to it, as for me, I'm still waiting for the option to resize and move the bottom panel to the left side, I'm playing on a widescreen laptop, it's REALLY awkward when the bottom middle part of the screen AS IN THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF IT is obscured (new UI also did some wonky stuff to my chat window, it's out of place hovering over to the left side.
So yeah maybe it's not so bad but for the love of god please let us customize it more

Both sides should have the option here. A user interface should be tailored to the needs of the user.

I used to think it was bad, but I really like it because everything's there! Also on the PBE riot put the score, kda, and cs on the top right corner again.
I tried DOTA 2 a little bit and the character dialogue made me gtfo. Razor wouldn't shut up about lightning and electricity related puns, the sniper called Sniper only talked about sniping. A video I saw where I learned that upon selecting the character Earthshaker his quote is "There may be many earths, but there is only one Earthshaker" made sure I would never go back.
Also the sky high learning curve with low level bots completely wrecking me from off-screen even though I've had experience from League kind of destroyed any desire I had to try the game.
It's definitely still up in Custom games.
its still there in normals and customs but its getting implemented in ranked with patch 5.15 which is in 4 days
I don't mind it much just have a very hard time reading most of the text stats next to the champ are too small text i the shop is too dark and small for me. And text under options is too small as well. Gives me a headache playing now trying to keep a eye out on stuff.
It'll be put into Ranked games with the next patch
I just hope they're not NEARLY done with it yet.

I like the way the hud looks and the ult timers I just like the placement of things. It does not use the left side of the screen at all and on a 1900x1080 screen it looks really bad

My only problem is with the surrender window. The HUD has tiny aspects, and I love that, but it's strange they didn't fix the surrender window. It even rides on top of the champ icons, which really hurts gameplay.
I hated it, but all the changes on PBE look like a good improvement and I feel like it's going to really help my opinion of it.
My favorite part about it is being able to left click my opponent to check their cs instead of needing to tab because i'm mildly obsessed with staying even or ahead before one of us dies
i have been playing with it in the past few days. i think i prefer it over the previous one, although i dont see any real differences.

Yeah I didn't understand the hate. One of my friends didn't like it and what he mostly said was about the items being to the right of the ability bar. I was kinda like "so...what? I got used to it in maybe 2 matches" He also complained about the friendly champion portraits being above the map, while I love the open space.
What is that direction though? The only info you've given is that you will leave because of the new HUD. I like the new HUD a lot, but if I didn't it wouldn't really mean anything. I would literally just say whatever and carry on.
