I saw a lot of outcry over the new interface that Riot implemented, it seemed as though everyone hated it. But I'm here to say that I actually loved it. When I hopped on today, I noticed they'd taken it down. Why? Was there a problem with it, or did Riot just backdown from a good idea because people don't like new things? BRING THE NEW HUD BACK! I loved it. And I doubt I was the only one.

The wee little icons for your team mates in the bottom right really gets on my nerves, especially when nearly every other game I can think of with multiple players or team maters has them full on the left side. Maybe it is because Riot said they were making some changes that people complained about, so why keep complaining when someone says they are fixing things?
Same reason there stopped being a complain thread every few minutes about Fiora because Riot said they were taking the feedback into consideration.
Stop trying to act like you won something, when the people that were complaining were obviously heard as Riot is making changes to the HUD as we speak in numerous ways (not overhauling it or anything, but adding a lot more readability to a lot of areas).

Lugg4 votesThere were nice things about it, but really bad weaknesses as well. It doesn't matter how nice a HUD looks if you can't read it or find the info you need. The adjustments they are making on the PBE will help it tons.

I played a ranked game this morning, first one in a long time, and I noticed it was gone. So naturally I thought that they had removed it, but they will be implementing it shortly. I love the new HUD too. At first, I was always checking my items and stats on the lower left corner of the screen XD. But now, it's okay.

Únseen2 votesI think that League of Legends should give us the option of old HUD or the new HUD. That is my personal opinion. It's not that I don't like the new HUD but I am more used to the old HUD. So I am just pointing this out because I feel that I am not the only one who feels this way.

J Eevo2 votesI'm sure people will get used to it, as for me, I'm still waiting for the option to resize and move the bottom panel to the left side, I'm playing on a widescreen laptop, it's REALLY awkward when the bottom middle part of the screen AS IN THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF IT is obscured (new UI also did some wonky stuff to my chat window, it's out of place hovering over to the left side.
So yeah maybe it's not so bad but for the love of god please let us customize it more

FantasySniper1 votesMy only problem is with the surrender window. The HUD has tiny aspects, and I love that, but it's strange they didn't fix the surrender window. It even rides on top of the champ icons, which really hurts gameplay.

I got used to it in maybe 2 matches" He also complained about the friendly champion portraits being above the map, while I love the open space.

You must be a woman if you must nitpick at everything that I say.... But if you must desperately listen to me plead my case... I believe that the game should stay true to its roots, there are a lot of changes with the items, gameplay, and champion mechanics that I do not exactly agree on, however the hud change was the icing on the cake. I have been playing since the beginning, I have seen many, many changes made to this game, some for the better and some for the worse, the changes that I deem "For the worse," have heavily outweighed the "for the betters;" I feel that after all of these years this is my time part ways and move onto something else, like DoTA 2.
Myzisco1 votesI tried DOTA 2 a little bit and the character dialogue made me gtfo. Razor wouldn't shut up about lightning and electricity related puns, the sniper called Sniper only talked about sniping. A video I saw where I learned that upon selecting the character Earthshaker his quote is "There may be many earths, but there is only one Earthshaker" made sure I would never go back.
Also the sky high learning curve with low level bots completely wrecking me from off-screen even though I've had experience from League kind of destroyed any desire I had to try the game.
