A Theoretical Idea

I'm wondering about this idea I've had for a while now. It's a business idea, if I ever had enough money to do it(Which I never will). It'd require owning a plot of land so I could build a building on along with computers and competent technicians and programmers.

Basically the building would have some sort of "Maze" type layout and people would walk through it while wearing glasses. However the glasses/goggles wouldn't only be see through but also serve as a thin monitor/screen onto which images could be projected. This would allow the programmers to set up things that would be transmitted to the goggles such as monsters/environments/etc.

Basically it takes the idea of 3D environments and makes them overlayed onto reality while wearing goggles.

Do you think it'd be possible to create something like that? Would there be a business potential in it..?
