Taking a break from League.

Just not happy with the direction the game is going I guess. I would say the rework on juggernauts + mordekaiser's complete identity crisis was the last straw for me, I usually just play league to play with my friends very casually, haven't even touched ranked in a couple months since its filled with nothing but stress inducing tryhards/generally mean people. Lately my frustration has gotten so bad that I can no longer bring myself to play blind pick, because if I do I'm forced to play against darius, fiora, new morde, ect. I just dislike playing with those champions over and over, they feel annoying to play against or even have on my team.

I'm a pretty simple player, I play a lot of taric and mostly play support. I'm not even THAT good at the game so my opinions on balance are pretty null and void. But I can say I'm not having fun anymore, and I can say that I have a good hunch a lot of other players are starting to feel that way too. Maybe if they didn't confuse the identity of champions like skarner and mordekaiser I wouldn't feel this way (I played both somewhat frequently before their reworks), and I'm not just talking about the giant rework that went terribly wrong that was done to mordekaiser. I'm talking about my main, fun, go-to champion, taric. I mean if riot can't respect mordekaiser what can I imagine they are going to do to taric? If simple kits must be forced to be complex to some extent, than taric could become a even worse abomination than mordekaiser.

But at the end it only comes down to the fact I enjoy simple champions more than complex play-making champions, and riot's direction seems fairly clear even with champions that don't specialize in that category. They want more complexity and "unique" play making potential, and I find that annoying. So its more my fault than riot's. Riot has the right to go a clear direction with the game, as I'm sure more players enjoy watching riven fly around the map outplaying other champions, than watch a taric player stun a target then begin rotating through ability's. So we may see this kind of pattern repeat itself fairly often. So yea I'm not really having fun so I am going to just take a break from the game.
