Special Interaction idea for Vel'Koz :)

What if every time Velkoz procced 3 stacks of Organic Deconstruction on a enemy champion he said something special about them? For example if Velkoz procced three stacks of Organic Deconstruction on a enemy Malphite he may say something like Velkoz: "Subject appears to be made completely out of non organic materials". I feel this would fit Velkoz's concept very well in addition to making players feel much more connected to the character.

Now you may be asking "But what if he procs three stacks of Organic Deconstruction on multiple enemy champions at once?". Good question! What if every time he procced three stacks of Organic Deconstruction on multiple champions he said something Crazy scientific! For example if lets say Velkoz ulted a entire enemy team and started rapidly proccing stacks of Organic Deconstruction he could say something like Velkoz : "Yes! The data is perfect!" or maybe Velkoz "Yes! More! More!".

Now you may now be asking the question "Ok now how are you going to get the voice actor to do all of this? No other champion has really been given THAT special of treatment", and if you are asking that good! I'm glad you are thinking! Because you are 100 % right! Which is why this is just a neat little idea that would well fit Velkoz in my opinion!

It's cool idea, but as you said voiceover update takes a lot of work. Also, there's more necessary voiceover changes like all the referrals to summoners, etc. I'd love to see this happen, but this shouldn't be a priority work.

Riot listen to this guy!!!!!!! (or girl idk) The ideia is awesome, I always wanted to see things like that happen to champons and I freaking love Vel'Koz, add extra lines to champions so that you feel the lore is moving forward or to conect to certain champions and dealve deep into their personalties. When Lucian was introduced, he had a taunt towards Thresh, and Thresh wa all like"... who's this crazy motherfu**er?" Same thing with Kalista and the ones she "hunts", her preys don't a damn about her, neither do the other shadow isles champs when she was released, it is anti-imersion.

Nice idea, but it shouldn't happen every time he procs passive, maybe like 50% chance of happening, so it doesn't get annoying like with some other quotes used when attacking with ability (Yasuo : "Hasagi!", "Hasayo!" just pisses me off).

This is a great idea! Right now his lore says he is a scientist/knowledge seeker, but you don't' really feel it in his gameplay. This change would be awesome and connect the lore to the game!

My only concern is if he actually procs it off of multiple enemies. One of Riot's concerns about making individual champion lines for First Blood and such is A) voicework is expensive and B) they are concerned the voice of the announcer and champion will overlap.

Let's say he used Lifeform Disintegration Ray and get two people to proc his passive on twice, what happens then?

I miss the old thread where velkoz was examining champions and his paragraph on vayne was something like "subject's body loses it's ability to interact with light particles while tumbling towards the ground"

To be fair, look how many lines Tahm has when it comes to other champs. Granted not like 110-120 other lines of dialogue, but a lot.

I like the idea, but I feel like this would get out of hand very quickly. During late game teamfights, he's procing his passive multiple times on multiple enemies, so he would eventually just be spouting random shit. There would have to be some way to gate what he says and when he says it.

A good compromise that wouldn't require additional VO could be to take some of his other voice lines and play them in such an event. I think the line "Thank you for your contribution" should be uttered when he obliterates a team with his ult or even "Ummmmm yessss infinity more samples required."

I brought this same matter up to a Riot last year and he did agree it was a good idea, it's probably a lot of work for low pay off. Also you have to consider that Riot probably didn't want Vel'koz to communicate to his test subjects, he's an interdimensional alien creature sent to investigate - a pioneer not a diplomat. Him being able to communicate to other players could make him come across as comical or personable. I think of how Vel'koz's main attributes is his menace, I enjoy his inner monologue.

Maybe have it only proc the voiceover 3-4 times per champ per game. Or 1-2 times.

Actually silicon is kinda organic, and many argue that it can create a silicon-based lifeforms

this sounds like a great idea. But in a teamfight or something he would be procing this all the time and you would hear nothing but voiceovers
