Taric plus IBG rush = good times.
Yeah he's always been incredibly strong and quite underestimated against heavy AD teams. He's also benefited quite a bit from the juggernaut items, particularly DMP. Even the most minor interference has given him problems closing the gap and swinging for his passive in the duration of his stun and DMP makes that a much more sure thing and gives a nice damage boost besides.
And yes Taric players are probably going to hate the rework because it will most likely take him from being a strong and very consistent-within-his-niche support, to an even more situational support with a fraction of the consistency.
Taric is just stupidly fun to play. No real reward, but absolutely hilarious.
Yeah i guess the armor nerfs were an indirect buff to taric because they encouraged all ad teams and nerfed armor tanks on the enemy team while his aura is still strong and only like 1-2 armor weaker.

People really underestimate Taric's dueling potential. I like how he much he shuts down hyper-mobile champions like Riven, Fizz, Yasuo, and especially Vayne.

I love it when people think Taric is garbage. Makes it even easier to carry the game.
I recently played a game where I was dueling the enemy Vayne and killing her by myself. She was mad. My team was surprised. Just another day as Taric.
He will get compensation buffed soon enough.... after all, "zero counterplay stuns" need to get.... compensated
