This happens to me every update, but i found a fix that works for me, you can try it.

  1. Go to riot games on your computer. Click League of Legends.
  2. Open the folder RADS.
  3. Open the folder Projects.
  4. Open the folder lol_launcher.
  5. Open the folder releases.
  6. Open the folder 0.0.0.239.
  7. Copy the S_OK file.
  8. Go back to folder projects.
  9. Open the lol_air_client folder.
  10. Open the releases folder.
  11. Open the folder 0.0.1.134
  12. Paste the S_OK file.

This works for me every time, I am dumb, so I don't have the slightest idea what this does or what it means, but it fixes the problem for me. good luck. :)
