Disrespect

Why is all I see on the forums general flaming or complaining. Especially when the server is down for a patch. It's a free to play game. Go exercise and burn off your hatred that way, but give the Riot employees a break. If you guys don't like it you can seriously stop playing and/or create a better game of your own if you feel like you could do balance etc better than Riot. They have to balance ALL skill levels with champions, items, matchmaking. I've hardly seen anyone but Silvers, Bronzes and a few gold with very limited knowledge of how the game actually works complaining on the forums (not saying there aren't better players complaining, just the majority aren't). Anyone who continues flaming, but keeps playing despite not being "satisfied", is just a hippocrite and should seriously just go make their own game. If you want Riot to listen, maybe you could try having a civil conversation and addressing them nicely rather than bashing them and talking all the crap you can before they can even reply. Like if your mom made you dinner for free, every night, and one thing about that dinner was off one night, would you go off in a yelling frenzy at your mom and talk crap to her? If you do that, I surely hope you are punished for that action of being entirely selfish rather than politely voicing that you may have liked something else better.

Cheers Riot

Do you think this is a free-to-play game at OUR benefit? Please learn business and marketing.

Riot makes A LOT of money off of us, in advertisements, events, and the thousands of RP transactions a day. I've recently spent over 50 dollars in rp and have probably spent over 100 dollars since I've played league. Considering most games cost $50-$60 dollars, they are banking.

The disrespect comes from Rito, because of their bullshit "estimates". It is one thing to have a long maintenance times, it is another to continuously lead on players that the game is about to be playable when in reality it is not. I worked a long 8-5 day, and wanted to play league when I got home, considering it was supposed to be back on by 6pm East Time, I have been patiently waiting, not doing anything, thinking it'll be back at any second. Now it is 9:30, I'll probably have to go to bed soon, and I spent my night bored out of my mind, not doing anything because Riot kept saying "just a little bit longer."

So yes, a lot of us feel disrespected because of the lack of accuracy of Riot. They have been saying one more hour for over 4 hours.

I understand what they are doing isn't easy and I don't expect them to be super heroes. I just expect accurate server updates that don't end up in me wasting my entire fucking night like a little school girl waiting on a prince charming that never came.

No, I'm not a loser who has nothing better to do than play league. I would have happily watched a movie or hung out with friends, but throughout the entire night I was kept under the impression that the game will be up very shortly.

And that, my friend, is disrespect.

Lol. Riot is a for-profit company, owned by a corporate giant. They aren't giving League of Legends as a gift to the world. They are luring people in so they can suck their money away once they're devoted. We are all intended customers. If they want our money, they need to keep us complacent.

The employees at riot wouldn't be the ones sucking your money away if they were owned by a bigger corporation would they? the employees try to listen as much as possible and help and change things because guess what, they don't make more or less money depending on whether or not you spend money. Everyone is targeting the employees and the only rioters that are on the forums are the employees that are legitimately trying to help. and yet all you guys do is talk crap. So what they give an estimate and are not online immediately when they say? You literally sat at your computer waiting for those estimates and clicking the refresh button as they're working their butts off to fix it. instead of doing that you could have been doing something useful, and that's not riot's fault, nor is it your junglers, it's yours. On top of that, riot always compensates people for extended downtime and mistakes. they try their best., and i know for a fact you couldn't do better.
