How old is annie or in this case does she age?

It recently has come to me that Annie was one of the first champions released out of the original 40 in the first public release of league. Now that was nearly 5 and a half years ago and 80 some odd champions later here we are.

Now the question is in all the RIOT animations, splash art and textures in the game play, she looks between I would say 5-10 maybe 12. So I am curious, wouldn't she be going through puberty? I mean in all seriousness, wouldn't she now be just a little mature enough not to carry around a stuffed bear and instead have an ult like she makes the ground around her erupt or something? I mean I love Tibbers and all (well not when fighting an Annie though) but seriously even if she was like between 6-8 she should at least look more like a teen.
