Is RIOT breaking the Meta?
Am i the only one that has noticed this? I feel like with the release of bard I just feel like RIOT doesn't like the idea of the meta. What has riots main idea of league? Fun, they always want us to have fun.
Now I know what you're going to say "RIOT doesn't care about us all they want is our money and become the most dominant moba and online game on the earth." You're right kind of, sure RIOT wants to be the best online game in the world, you should always shoot for that as a business. But, in all truth every move that RIOT makes with their game is for the better of the community.
Back to the idea of fun. The idea of nerfs is to try to attempt to make champs equal. Even if champs like
and
are always complained about for being too op, it is inevitable, there are flaws in every system and that is what we need to live with. The main reason they balance is to try and make all the champs equal in one way or another. If champs are equal in power it makes it fun for all of us. We don't want an opponent to have an advantage, do we?
Now onto the break of the meta. I don't think RIOT likes the meta, it brings out the toxicity in all players, and RIOT hates us flaming each other. Whenever someone decides to go ap
,
or ad
I see people flame each other when we're in normals. Then the champs get on killing sprees and everyone stops, because these builds actually work. That is what RIOT wants they love the idea of thinking outside the box, if you can beat someone differently then anyone expected people start using it. That is where bard comes in, I feel like in this season RIOT will release champs outside the box, a tank that will go** bot lane**, a ranged jungler, and many other ideas that will force us to think outside the box.
Because that is what RIOT wants and I find the most fun. ;)
