Distorted Rank and Matchmaking

At the moment I am playing awesome most every game yet it is only good enough to win around 50% or my games in low Bronze. Every game is grueling because of how much I have to do to just compete, let alone win. A lot of games I have to instruct and teach while trying to carry teammates that hardly no what they are doing. I am helping so much because I know a lot more and play much better, yet we are all the same rank? Whatever opinion you have of my stats and/or performance keep in mind how my teammates are doing. To be completely honest the only thing stopping me usually is my own team, more or less a smurf who has never been out of Bronze. What is a rank if a person with a sparking track record is categorized with those who have poor ones?
