URF won't come April 1st but 2 times this year. Stop whining!

This is an rioter's post of when URF will be released: Now stop whining it is better this way thus we will have more game modes this year

Rotating queue will join Classic and ARAM in an upcoming patch, but part of why we’re announcing it now is because two years in a row, we delivered the Ultra Rapid Fire game mode in increasingly absurd ways. While we’re pretty sure you aren’t going to believe us anyway, we’re telling you right now that URF will not return on the first of April. We’re not quite ready to announce the full slate of game modes that’ll feature in the new Rotating queue, but we are ready to share that Ultra Rapid Fire will appear at least twice in 2016.

They didn't say about the time TBH. They might increase URF's duration

No they have specifically said it would be over weekends. 3-4 days max. that's 6-8 days instead of a couple weeks.

Anyways my response is sourced from the same thread you're pulling from. Overall it's a much shorter time even if they bring it back twice for extended weekends.

Yeah. I enjoyed playing URF for 2 weeks. It is good if you want to level up accounts. Also more enjoyable but let's see where Riot is going. This rotating queue can't be an April fools as ascension and poro king are already on the PBE. I get you.

Not saying the rotating queue is an april fools joke, Im saying Riot set up a tradition and really high expectations. A few online posts by personnel isn't gonna do anything to dissuade those expectations due to the nature of the event.

Urf in itself is a joke. April Fools Jokes are supposed to be fun for everyone, not a let down cash grab like last year's Hallowing.

It's not better if you hated 90% of the game modes. Ascension and URF were the only ones I liked. It's also not better if you can't play on weekends.

the problem is that they deleyed urf for no reason at all. the rotating gamemodes arent out yet and wont be for another patch or so, meaning they could have released urf today but wouildve rathered have today be a massive ad for some crappy skins (except for meowkai)
