They tried that once and gave a long explanation for why it didn't work out. Don't have a link, but I clearly remember it.

A lot of people say these responses when I mention something that involves programming but the honest answer is that it isn't too hard for RIOT. think about the entirety of the game that they have already produced and all the things the bots already do. I don't believe it would be such a stretch to add jungle bots.

Most of the HUMANS that play this game don't even know how to jungle. Start there.

Also, if you are at a level that learning to jungle is important then a bot game is usually just going to be a 20 min waste of time.

Bot games are for people who are learning the ropes of the LOL game as well as players looking to safely test the kit of a new champion for them. In both cases it would be extremely advantageous for the players to experience a game that consisted of all the same META positions that are expected in a regular game. Basically you can't accurately learn top lane against bots because it doesn't resemble any game you will play with people.
