Best Champions to go with Kog´Maw

Hi everyone,

So, these days I've been playing with 4 premades and we were planning a full "protect the " comp to see how well it goes/funny it is. We were thinking of champion that could help him and protect him. We came up with the obvious support and mid , who will help him stay alive. But we were thinking of the Top and Jungler, and they should probably be tanks who can disrupt a teamfight and claim attention to themselves, so Kog has a easy time. Could you help us with suggestions? As of now, we taught about maybe Maokai or Malphite. Suggestions? Thanks

Shen top: Can draw attention to himself in teamfights and can support Kog'maw with a shield/TP if he is ganked.

For jungle, I have a number of options. They include: TahmKench Gragas Poppy

Braum and his passive? You can lose the lane. Later he can protect him.

Gragas jungle is probably your best bet for the Kog'Maw comp. I would say Shen would work really strong top lane. He's a tank but his taunt would help keep enemies off of Kog'Maw and if Kog gets caught out, you have Shen ult to help save him.

we did it the other day with illaoi top vi jungle zilean mid and sorka support i was kog early game wasnt very good but we didnt feed and 25 30 min in i just killed everything even there fed as heck garen. finished 11/3. Lesson of that match is as long as you can keep ppl offf kog you will win. The vi pick is a little unconventional but worked really well as her ulti screwed anyone who tried to engage on me.I could play extra aggro mid game cause sorka heals and if they did get to me zilean ulti is nasty on kog. With illaoi holding down gthe front line and ulti on an engage they were half health and counldnt get anywhere near me and clean up is abreeze

One of the best supports imo is Alistar. The knockup is great because it can not only peel for Kog'maw, but doesn't displace them so he can hammer them while they do nothing. It also isn't reduced by Tenacity.
