Champion Mastery has ruined this game.

Ever since champion mastery has been released (despite it making the player feel accomplished), it has_ destroyed all integrity in this game._

I can't tell you the last normals game that I played where I wasn't "shown who's boss" by someone on the enemy team who decides to spam their emote at me just for the sake of infuriating me. I fully understand that this has existed for a long time due to being able to laugh in people's faces (and of course the community being immeasurably arrogant), but it never felt as coldhearted and flat-out rude as these emotes do.

I'm not sure if champion mastery itself has caused the shift in people's attitude from playing this game for fun to playing this game to show how much better you are than everyone else, and I honestly don't care. But I don't need to know how much "better" than me you are through your emote spamming. There's a reason why 95% of my match history as of late has been comprised of bot games, and it's not due to my lack of skill - the game has just become awful to play versus real people ever since this champion mastery system was developed.

I recognize that many people will disagree with me, and it's understandable. It's hard enough trying to post this because I know that I will get downvoted and that this will get swept away by memes. I just wish there was a way to silence other people's mastery icons being shoved down my throat so I could go back to enjoying the game that I used to be so enthralled by.
