ELO hell thoughts
Backstory: My main account is platinum 2. After getting sick of the real ELO hell (plats who dont care because they think they are challenger) I was wondering what bronze and silver would be like.
This is a team game. If you are getting 3 garbage players and 2 decent players you will lose. A combination of champion abuse, broken items, dynamic que, and tower changes/winning team changes literally makes silver/bronze pure luck based. Sure, I stomped most of my games, but it didnt matter because my team never took advantages I offered such as pressuring waves or killing their carry.
Here watch this: (not a real game)
Urgots top vs leblanc lets say. Jungle is mundo.
Urgot Gets stomped, mundo feeds off kills as well. Now you have leblanc who, if lands everything, can 1 shot a carry with just 2 kills at around 12 minutes. Now leblanc is fed, and takes tp. Bot lane was holding their cool with the enemy but now leblanc comes in and so does mundo. Now bot lane is behind because leblanc had enough kills to take out our adc's health completely. 1 tower gone and 2 towers if the games at 18 minutes.
Now the scoreboard is 3-5.
Your midlaner zed, who is extremely good or a smurf, can at best take out one person because he has 3 kills. Unfortunately, every lane is now feeding including jungle who cant apply pressure anywhere. Dragons are stacked up, rift heralds taken, towers fall. You cant do anything because urgot failed to control a champion therefore losing the entire game. The game ends 6-28
Now, in silver/bronze, I rarely see things that can prevent such things from occuring. MIA, counterpushing, counterganking, taking objectives never happen on a losing team. Unfortunately most losing team has the "fuck this" mentality because one person completely fucked the game.
Elo Hell is real. Like it or not, you either roll the dice or just dont play at all.
TLDR 1 person can ruin a game, 1 person cannot carry a game.
