Preseason Question

Hi guys. I haven't been around for past pre-seasons, so I was wondering how they work. Can you still play ranked? Do your season 5 stats get wiped and you have to go through placements again?

How does the transition from Season 5 to preseason to Season 6 work exactly? Thanks!

Anyone? Mostly curious when the placement matches occur, when the pres-season starts or when the actual season 6 starts after the pre-season.

Yes, you can still play ranked during pre-season. At the start of season 6/Feb 2016 they then have a soft reset and you do have to do placements again.
