Why was a 2 week banned for this?

Why, after being told to kill myself, and that j4 was going to feed my lane, does this deserve a ban? What exactly did i say that was deemed worthy of a 2 week ban. i know i retaliated and could have muted them, but is this actually worthy of a 2 week ban? It seems rather harsh for saying pretty much nothing but "im reporting someone" for telling me to kill myself. Ive never gotten banned on this account before, only a 10 game mute a while ago. Besides that my record is clean, but being told to kill myself multiple times really bothers me considering a friend of mine committed suicide a few years back.

Well, I see report calls, ban threats, and persistent badgering - none of which is considered acceptable. So that probably has something to do with it.

Keep in mind that the actions of others have no bearing on your case - what they said is only relevant to their own cases.

Lowering yourself to their level of behavior makes you accountable for all your actions too. You both pretty much deserve a ban.

You got a two week ban because you were reported. It doesn't matter what you said at all, the ban is completely automated.

To be fair like someone said you need to have been reported numerous times. The chat logs are from the most recent games, so for all we know you could have said a lot of worse things in your previous games!

All in all retaliation no matter if it's justifed isn't tolerated. It's sad, but it makes sense. Common sense would tell you just mute and move on. People will say things like this and the whole reason for that is because they want you to make some sort of comeback so they can report you. Just learn from this and mute. Don't give them any evidence that could be used against you.

At first I thought that this wasn't banworthy, that at most you shoulda gotten chat restricted.

Then I realized it takes multiple games to get banned so what aren't you showing us OP? :p
