Yeah, nearly forgot about the the crit change. I don't feel more inclined to buy PD to be honest I just feel as if it was unnecessary.

I built PD over Shiv before the patch anyway.

It was mostly because ADCs built IE > PD and Riot wanted to delay their power spike so they moved 5% crit from IE to PD. It wasn't a buff to PD per se, it was a delay in power to ADCs that resulted in a nerf to IE and a buff to PD.

I always built PD over Shiv on adcs so I still build it every game. I've been meaning to try going B.F. Sword -> PD -> complete IE to see if that works better but always forget in game and instinctively complete IE first :(

I'm thinking with the lower crit chance on IE, that Bloodthirster > Zeal > IE > PD might work now.

I'd want to complete PD before starting a second ad item unless I have some legit ad scaling ratios and use skills more than autos when trading (I can't think of an adc where this applies).

The idea is PD will increase your dps by the most given you have some ad to apply the multiplier to. Building a second ad item increases your damage by like 50%, getting crit chance and attack speed as high as it is in PD you're getting way more dps out of that. I just want to see mathematically of BF is enough ad to make the PD multiplier a bigger upgrade than the IE bonus crit chance. The earlier move speed from zeal would also mean you can postpone boots.

I'm building it on most of my ADCs now. Jinx, Vayne, Sivir, and Caitlyn. I only go shiv if I base with 800 gold after I finish IE and I think I can farm enough to make avarice super efficient.

Something annoying that I've noticed is that buying PD doesn't stop the game from pathing you to walk around minions. You have to spam click like a centimeter in front of your champion to intentionally walk through minions the majority of the time, so it's a pretty wasted passive in a lot of situations.
