An important point about the Dunkey 'argument' you should all know

So many of you are right.

Yes, Dunkey deserved the bans. Yes, he's toxic (good at it though). Sure, he's hamming things up and editing things. And yes, this whole thing is pretty crazy.

He makes some good points though if you look past his anger and bias. League is flawed with how big it's become and how horribly stewed it's massive player base is. I'm not saying there's an easy way to fix these issues, but Dunkey is right. So much of the game is luck- and not random luck, but the luck of how 9/10 factors in the game are almost 100% beyond your control. The unreliability of these factors (players) is frustrating. We all know the pain, we have all had those unwinnable games. We all get trolls or toxic/bad players. Riot is doing their best I understand but I'm not sure it's what's healthy for League.

Maybe it's because the game is in such a weird and transitional phase in it's existence. The juggernauts are like a stage of puberty in how they're changing the game. I know and hope things will be better and sorted out but right now things are a mess; and that is what Dunkey was getting at. So yes, what he did was wrong in many peoples eyes including mine (death threats aren't cool), but what he has to say beyond that are very valid points of criticism on the game.

I'll be checking back here if any commenters want to have a legitimate debate or pose their own angles on this. Everyone needs to calm down though XP.

That still doesn't change what he did. Plus loads of people have been saying those things about the game. Riot is doing their best to change it for the good. What people are expecting is too much in too little of time. Change isn't instance. You need time, especially with how this community is with any type of change. They know no matter what they do they will piss off people. What they are probably trying to do is piss off as little as possible by making fewer and fewer changes as patches come out.

Don't get me wrong I like this game, and usually will accept any changes made within the game because riot is a gaming company and they sure know more about it than me. But what donkey said in terms of the game has been said by just about any person who has been playing this game for as much has he has (myself included) what makes what he said more influence than the other people who have been saying the same thing he said on other boards like this, reddit, any other league/gaming site, or YouTube video about league?

To me it seems like he was just trying to make excuses for him being toxic. Stating that he didn't have fun with how it was currently and that being toxic towards people is what made the game for him. And while that's all fine if he was the only person playing the game. The sad truth is there are millions of others playing this game. You should harass others because it makes the game fun for you. Trash talking unless it's with friends who know/understand you is ok. When you do it to random people who have no clue who you are, you just come off as a toxic person in their eyes no matter if it's joking or not because more often than not they don't know.

Shane, from the Walking Dead, had some really good points. Maybe if he wasn't so terrible at making a point then more people would realize that Rick is kind of an idiot. How you say things matters just as much as what you say.
