smurfs completely ruined my gaming experience and ended up making me quite toxic! WHY DO THEY ALLOW THIS?!? surely there is some way to prevent people from completely screwing up the experience of everyone they go up against cause this is getting out of hand! cause when they get banned where do they go??? oh just another account to screw with more people and causing most of the people they run into to become pissed the fuck off not just at him but at riot for allowing it! AND WHAT ABOUT NEW PLAYERS THAT START OUT ON NORMALS? OH YES THEY CAN JUST GO TO HELL CAUSE RIOT DOESNT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT ITS PLAYERBASE ENOUGH TO PUNISH THE SMURF THAT BEATS THEM SO BAD SO OFTEN THEY NO LONGER WANT TO PLAY!

I think that I could understand the reasoning to not ban smurf accounts. but I think that once an account that is an unranked smurf is detected, it should be put into this "smurf priority" queue that only plays against smurfs and has a long-ass wait time.

Smurfs break away from normal players in matchmaking pretty quick. It does create an unfortunate situation but its kind of unavoidable. The game is free so there is no barrier to stop people from creating new accounts and any rule to prevent people from doing it would be unenforceable.

IMO, a much bigger issue than the skill difference is how a lot of smurfs treat new players. A lot of that is because the smurfs are banned players creating new accounts to keep playing. But that is becoming less of an issue as the punishment systems have been refined.
