yes the title is angry and yes this will probably be deleted cause its "negative" but seriously screw you riot!! how dare you permaban me for talking shit in a competitive game seriously why dont you just permaban everyone who has an absurdly difficult time controlling their emotions when getting ragged on by your team in every 4/5 games oh and lets also ignore the cause of the toxicity and just punish the affected CLAP CLAP! most of the time i am a very nice guy i dont bark at people i dont talk shit but when im being mercilessly badgered by my team and theirs for shit thats out of my hands CONSTANTLY BTW RIOT and im the one who is punished for reacting!!! WHY!! what does banning those affected instead of those causing toxicity doing for you have you thought of that!! PS. I have an impossibly hard time controlling my outbursts when triggered so really you are just punishing someone for something he cannot control AKA a condition

I guess riot doesn't like children raging in their game. Mature up and /mute at the start. There is never a reason to be toxic in a game.

getting "triggered" is not a condition go back to tumblr where you belong

Today's life lesson: Retaliation is not always permitted. This is a valuable lesson for the real world. 'But he started it!' doesn't hold much meaning once you get out of middle school... and these days not even there.

Most of the complaints of this type fall into three situations, which I will detail below. Please identify which one it is.

Situation 1: A person is banned for responding to others harassing him and feels unjustly banned because the people who harassed him didn't get banned. But he didn't report any of the people harassing him in the first place because he thought Riot wouldn't do anything about it. Then he finds out the hard way that yes, they will, because he just got banned for it.

If someone steals your car, that does not give you permission to go steal their car. You will still be arrested. So will they... unless you never reported your car stolen in the first place.

Situation 2: A person greatly overreacts to someone else's comments by interpreting them as far more hostile than they might otherwise be. While they might feel harassed, an ordinary person would not. Or, while an ordinary person might be annoyed, the affected person's response is vastly disproportionate to the slight against them.

While someone cutting you off in traffic is annoying and a minor violation of the law, shooting at them is not an appropriate or rational response.

Situation 3: The person affected has a legitimate mental health issue that causes great amounts of uncontrolled anger and frustration and they are not addressing it properly.

Intentionally putting yourself in a situation that triggers a mental health episode is against the advice of every doctor I know and getting banned is probably for your own benefit.

you can control it. you can control the situation by muting, you can control yourself by not typing. it's not like in person where you blurt things out. you have to think about what you're going to type, press enter, type it, then press enter again. it's a process that's ben thought through. you are 100% in control of your actions

I am at peace knowing Riot actually bans toxic players lmao

Okay, and that's fine. You take medicine to try and not be angry. You have to understand, however, that even in a controlled environment like this board, you aren't being angry, you are being juvenile and offensive. So, assuming you do have rage blackouts, which I'm sorry and I hope you are getting therapy for, you are coming here and being rather childish about it.

Hey, stop bashing on the guy for voicing his opinion! Now yes, the language used is exceedingly aggressive and can only be idealized as correct behavior via experience of these same things.

Being toxic is one of the most well known things about league. Please dont increase toxicity by pestering a toxic player!

And as for the OP, you have a multitude of options to remove your reports of being antagonized by your teammates, both via the mute button, and refusal to do so because your reasonings of "when i get angry i have the hard to resist urge to unmute and bitch back"implies you do utilize the function. If you block someone, they cannot see what you type, nor can you see theirs, so asking the opponents in all chat to report them is a good way to punish them for said behavior. And post game, blocking someone gurantees they can no longer send messages or queue with you in future games.

But riot does need to be called out on this. The fact that the mute function isnt exactly obvious, nor tied to the actual chat, makes it more difficult to access, and the block function is essentially hidden from the player. Players should be able to send chat logs after reporting, and have a popup which asks if you would like to block the player as well.

Upon reading more comments, you are entirely deserving of the punishment. You seem to be extremely aggressive towards those who do not share your opinion. This behavior is not one which the community tolerates in general, the tribunal would also confirm this.

As another person who suffers outbursts, I reccomend you to keep your medical supplements in your bloodstream constantly when doing potentially stressful actions.

Please remove yourself from the situation and analyze this behavior.

I don't think they are deleting them because you are "hounding" them. You bringing spam and anger to the boards. First off, please post your logs. Second, there is a lot you can do. Mute the people ASAP, and try rebinding your chat key to something you would never press, or unbind it entirely. Also, if your issue is a real full fledged medical issue, you might want to see a psychologist.

The first time I read the OPs post, I figured he was mad, and probably overreacted, but many could be helped out. I left a comment and left. I just read his comments. He looks 110% deserving of a ban, BEYOND toxic, BUT he could have a legit anger management issue. Don't make fun of that.
