Jhin is strikingly similar to my favorite fan-made champion concept

This concept was released about a year ago, and champion production usually begins about 9 months prior to release. So that means that this may have influenced some of Jhin's key features as it was developed.

I'll be frank, Jhin looks nothing like Dane. I mean Dane is a one-armed gunslinger from a wild west movie. But I noticed one detail, Jhin also has only one arm. But unlike Dane, Jhin has a mechanical one. Don't believe me? Look carefully at his arm, it definitely a mechanical arm.

Now let's look at his abilities. First thing to mention is a bullet system passive. Although ammo system works differently for Dane, Jhin has to reload his gun just like Dane. Now here's the real shocker: Dane's passive is literally named, I shit you not, "Deadeye." Sound familiar?

First up is Dane's Q "Disarm." It is a skillshot in a sorta thin line that interrupts. Jhin has a thin line skillshot that roots an enemy. Seems similar, but a little fuzzy because of the enormous range difference and the different cc type.

Dane's W is "Quicksilver," a skill shot, with a little bit less range than Jinx's w that could spread out up to a 90 degrees cone (could also be close to a strait line) and fires bullets evenly within it from start point to the end of the cone. Very similarly, Jhin's ultimate is a cone, with much greater range, that bullets can be fired from. What is strikingly similar between the two is that the both versions use all of the bullets in the gun within the cone. However, from what I've seen Jhin doesn't have to reload afterwards.

Dane's E, "Blazer", is the one ability I couldn't find being used in his kit. It could be related to his passive empowered 4th shot, but that seemed more like Dane's ultimate.

Dane's ultimate, "Setting Sun", seems to have been included and altered in both Jhin's passive and ultimate. Setting Sun used the last bullet in Dane's gun to shoot a devasting and epic skillshot, but it could only be used in his last bullet. Jhin puts emphasis on the last bullet, empowering it similarly to "Setting Sun"

I can personally see the possibility of a Rioter finding a champion concept and altering it to his or her liking over time. I just want to find out if this is a coincidence or not.
