kindred delay why i am actually mad

So kindred was delayed because of a big bug they found, first im happy they delayed a buggy champion yes, what im not happy about is the part where they delayed her all the way until 5.20*. they said they are doing this because they dont want two patches so close together and some people might have connection issues i.e. disconnecting from their game when a patch comes out. 1.when you are going to patch an hour or two before tell people, its their fault of they start a game. 2. i get its probably easier for you to patch it once rather than twice but i feel it is kind of unfair to say kindred will be out in 5.19 and just be like "o well by the time the bug is fixed the next patch will be out in 5 days might as well do one patch. 3. you said patch 5.20 was when she will come out but you never told us things like when will patch 5.20 come out? will she come out with 5.20 or do we get to wait another week?

Dude, they posted SPECIFICALLY to say that 5.20 is the usual time next week. That is On the normal schedule, and in case you dont know, the time will be roughly 1:00 AM Pacific / 3 AM Eastern on the early morning of wednesday october 14.

Also, many people have issues patching the client for various reasons, and each and every patch becomes a huge ordeal for them.

As a side not: I cast my vote for AT 5.20. This is because with this reasoning, I agree with the option. HOWEVER i obv want kindred RN pls if not for the bugs.

While i understand problems can happen, the way this is going about just seems odd. Not only was there a 2 week testing period on the PBE. which usually find bugs especially as big as this, but there was also a 1 week period of kindred not being released because of the first week of Worlds. So it basically means 3 weeks of testing basically gone to waste for something as serious as this.

Especially with Worlds going on and them trying to throw it down our throats it just seems like they dont want to release Kindred in the hopes that everyone watches Worlds. As someone who doesnt give a damn about Worlds, im just waiting. I feel like they could have just giving out a small patch to fix it. If it means taking the servers down for a couple of mins so be it. have a loss prevention for the people currently in game in just case and let the people who want to play Kindred be happy. Now we have to wait another week and god knows if something else will happen during this week of waiting!

Just be glad that they listened to the PBE for once instead of letting another Azir event happen. So many bugs have made it to live from PBE simply because Riot doesn't listen to those of us in PBE when we tell them there's a bug and what causes it.
