If I do a name change on one account can I name change to that name on a different account?
In other words, once I do a name change from A to X will A be available?
I want to change my main accounts name to my smurf accounts name but before I spend the Ip to do it I want to know if that's how it works or does the system hold on to that name for awhile before I can get it.
XVI Jake IVX1 votesHey buddy! I just wanted to tell you if you are talking about what I think you are Yes you can! I started playing this game in 2010. I have done six name changes. I decided I wanted me 2010 summoner name back so I contacted Riot support and went through it and got this name <3

Tehlawlfirm1 votesAppreciate the response, You said you needed to contact Riot support for this? Or once you do the Name change it is available?m I do know that You can get names that have expired over time, i'm just wondering if I can do this like instantly..
Smurf account change <name1> to <name2>
Main Account change to <name1>
Edit Never mind thanks
XVI Jake IVX1 votesCheaper to just get riot support <3
Raw1 votesTo answer your question, as soon you change your summoner name your current one will be free again. But if you want to swap summoner name between 2 accounts that you own, I think it will be cheaper if you contact Riot support. I've changed my summoner name 16 times.
