If I do a name change on one account can I name change to that name on a different account?
In other words, once I do a name change from A to X will A be available?
I want to change my main accounts name to my smurf accounts name but before I spend the Ip to do it I want to know if that's how it works or does the system hold on to that name for awhile before I can get it.

To answer your question, as soon you change your summoner name your current one will be free again. But if you want to swap summoner name between 2 accounts that you own, I think it will be cheaper if you contact Riot support. I've changed my summoner name 16 times.
