While it's nice to hear sometimes. You shouldn't expect praise for not being bad.
Score doesn't tell us anything either. You could of just gotten most of the kills by chance.
Why do you need others to pat you on the back? It's nice to get compliments, but if you know you did well you should take pride in that yourself, even if nobody notices. That's pretty much support anyway, if you do well you aren't as likely to be commended.
