can we have riot remove the report of being an "unskilled" player because i think its downright stupid for riot to look at a report for being unskilled because what if you were just having a bad day or something pissed you off enough to make you play worse than normal, basically i just want riot to remove the unskilled player report and it won't be for only me it'll be for everyone
its a bait report for people who just randomly reports people. it has no actual meaning and doesnt count towards a report since Riot believes people will have bad games, and reporting someone for "unskilled" makes zero sense.
If someone goes 0/10 when they are a hard counter to the opponent, they probably don't need to be at that MMR level. The unskilled button allows the ranking system to move someone down if they get enough reports on this. It's actually a good thing since that player will be placed in a more appropriate level where they have a chance to succeed.
this report button, when used to report someone at a low level will adjust their matchmaking if used enough. For Example. Someone who played tower defense on their phone thinks they are a pro and sets their difficulty to Veteran, but has no concept of how to play a MOBA. They get reported for unskilled enough it will start placing them with new players rather than smurfs.
That criteria is the only reportable option that doesn't punish you. I am unsure if it even actually matches you with different players to be honest. I think it's just there for people to blow off steam. (don't take this as truth, it might have a function, but I know it doesn't penalize you.)
It can lead to a matchmaking adjustment if enough of them occur.
believe me no one is looking at any type of report and not even a cpu program is looking at unskilled reports.
There are a lot of replies stating that the Unskilled Player report adjusts the reported player's MMR. This was the case years ago, when Riot was less confident in their matchmaking algorithm. It has had no effect whatsoever for a long time.
