It is time for a talk for those who don't know...

When 800 minions are pushed up to one of our turrets and I go to clear the wave, it is not, "farming" it is defending our turrets to keep us from losing the game. Especially with an AD jungler constantly lingering around those gigantic waves just waiting for the opportunity to take a free turret while everyone else chases each other around the map in areas where there is no objectives to be had.

If you find yourself in a situation where one of your teammates has to defend a turret, stop chasing. Stick closely to the turret that the enemy team is trying to take, do NOT chase them. Wait for your teammate to clear the wave and join you before you extend too far or try to make picks. Especially when it is only 15 minutes in.
