Its not that she demanded I quit. She was almost in tears because I spend my free time playing this over going outside and hanging out with my kids. Nevermind that im the only one with a Job and usually work from 8-5, got to the store afterwards if something is needed, usually make dinner(not a complaint against her because i do enjoy cooking) and then have an hour or two to spend before its bedtime. I will sorely miss this game. I uninstalled last night. Good luck. (I wish account selling were legal lol. Ive spent close to a grand on the game.)

Good on her. This game can be great entertainment but there got to be a balance. If other areas of your life are being neglected for a game (not saying yours is, just a generalization) then it needs to go.

Maybe in the future you'll be able to come back and enjoy a game every night or two. Best of luck to ya.

Just get another kid after this one asap so in a couple of years you can start a family 5 man flex team.

I think if that's what you want then I'm happy for you. I also agree that Family obligations come before play time. However, if you quit just because of her request I disagree. It's been my experience that if people don't like 'x' activity then they feel you shouldn't either. And video games seems to Garner a ton of criticism from non gamers.

I know other couples who complain about reading all the time, others complain about wood working, golfing, hunting. You get the picture and this is a common hurdle in all relationships.

I'm in my 40's and my wife and I have been together 20 years. She understands that this is how I relax. Now I don't short our time together, nor do I short my exercise (running). But from 9pm to 11 pm that's my time to play.

Granted I don't have children who live at home so that time slot works great for me.

Anyway, good luck and don't be guilty for enjoying this game unless it is causing issues with family relationships. I hope you can return and find some common ground with your significant other.

I would keep that account information just if there ever comes a use of it.

You could still stay in contact with League by just looking at new skins and champions, watch some related stuff or read about it, if you are interested in that stuff. Least you wouldn't depart dear League completely :(
