How do I escape the shit filled hole of silver league?

I just started playing ranked because I was told that the community is better and the games are a lot more fun. I got put into silver 4 and so far I haven't had a single team who wasn't filled with morons and shit heads. No one plays their roles and they just feed all game long then around 20 suddenly I am the fault everyone is losing because I am not carrying hard enough as a support. How do i get out of silver? I am sick of the number of idiots I end up with on my team. someone please tell me gold is better or that there is some way to get out. I know I am not a bad player because of my games in team builder and outside of ranked. I am not saying I am a pro player but honestly I could outplay most silver players with one hand half the time. SOME ONE SAVE ME FROM THESE MORONS.

Get the red trinket when you have Sightstone.

Remove that tier 1 quint from your page and get a tier 3.

Forget health regen per level runes.

Don't upgrade to Ruby Sightstone before you have AT LEAST three non-support items boots included.

And when you don't play support... Improve your farm.

Who said ranked was fun and has a better community? It's the shithole that all toxic players end up in, especially in lower mmr.

The thing is, every Elo has their idiots and while the extent to which they can mess up may be different, they're all pretty much the same. If you want to get out of there, play a hyper carry role and always go for the objectives. Try to be the shot caller and make some good calls for teamfights, securing or contesting dragon/baron (Please, if you get Baron, don't recall unless you're almost dead. Start split pushing, taking towers and starting teamfights), rushing their base etc.

I'm not as experienced, just got into Silver 3 after provisionals, but I always played a role that could either carry or initiate (Thresh, Yasuo and Renekton. Support, mid and top)

How do you get out of silver, by being better than silver people.

Sorry, the game isn't holding you back. You're not in ELO hell. You're just not good enough to get out of silver yet. When you are, you will. Until then, you won't.

I'd offer you other advice, but I don't think you'd accept it since you seem to be blaming others for holding you back and until you stop doing that, any advice others give you is wasted.

As another has said, your in silver becuase you deserve to be in silver. Elo hell is not isolated to bronze/silver, League is elo hell. B1 to P5 this season alone and every division had the same feeders/afks/Flanders etc.. Enjoy the game at whatever elo your at because it won't get better until your M1

If you're as good as you claim, just carry games repeatedly and you'll be out in a couple dozen games. Taking up the jungle role can be particularly conducive to this as you can work to snowball every lane and shut down anyone who starts getting to far ahead.

If you're somewhat less good than you claim, but still better than your current rank would indicate, then just grind a butt ton of solo queue and on average you'll win >50% of your games and inch upwards. Maybe your teams will frequently be filled with idiots and it's their fault for losing, but your opponents team is also just as filled with silver and thus theoretically are equally filled with idiots, and so if it wasn't for you then it's be roughly 50:50 on which team wins, but if you're better than your mmr would suggest then you should bias things in your teams favour. It might take a whole bunch of games, but you'll trend upwards.

Waiting until actual season starts might also be an option and just rocking placements to get placed directly into gold and just not worrying about ranked in the meanwhile.

That said, I'm lead to believe that teams feel like teams of idiots all the way up until plat or so when you're in solo queue, so if you want escape from idiocy you've gotta aim real high, or else set up some 5v5 teams to play with via skype or similar.

I could outplay most silver players with one hand half the time.

If this is true you shouldn't be in Silver for long. Enjoy your easy accession from the league.

um.... you average over 9 deaths a game in silver. I wouldn't say you can outplay your opponents or that they're morons. If you're dying 9 times that means you're doing something wrong. You went 1-9-4 in your last ranked game. Don't expect to climb if that's how you're going to play
