Is Reaching Gold good for your first season of ranked above average?
Not sure if it happens alot since ive only been playing since late season 3 and i was really proud when i finally made it.

Gold is above average, reaching it in a season doesn't mean anything. If on your first account, you placed into gold after hitting 30, or got to gold within a very low number of games, that'd be impressive.
The majority of players are in Siver and Bronze, so yeah, Gold is a good achievement.
